Train Up Children's Mission and Purpose

If this website has one message to fathers and mothers
aspiring to raise godly children it is this:

Put on the love of Christ, your endeavors will be easier and
sure of success. For Christ's yoke is truly light and easy
when your will yields to His.

If we are to honor God's design for the family, we have no choice but to train up our
children in the Lord.

Adela and me have three precious god-given children. We still have a long road before us in our parenting travels. However, thus far I have learned that most of my life's joys come from simple interactions that cost little or nothing other than my time and willingness to give.

As Christian parents do, I love my family and at the day of judgment I want to see them all welcomed into eternal glory. It is assumed you desire the same. Train Up Children is meant to be a help to Christian parents who are traveling the road of parenthood along with us.

The ideas we make known are not our own, for there is nothing new under the sun. The concepts of Biblical parenting are drawn from the well that never goes dry ~ God's Word. Our purpose is to point you back to what scriptures say about building lasting relationships. And our diligent prayer is that your family will experience the truths that God has waiting for you as a family unit, when you obey His commands.

There is no better parenting advice than this, "Go back to what God has revealed to you in His Word. Look to Jesus, put on compassion and tender mercies when they fall off. Train and teach your children in the ways of the Lord, as you would yourself. Finally, continue in steadfastness before the Lord as you work to cultivate the soil of your family's heart with God's language."

Train Up Children is solely designed to encourage you as a Christian parent to teach nothing but Jesus; to delight in no other; to look nowhere else for holiness, happiness, and fulfillment.
