Teach Reading, Handwriting, and Important Memory Skills at Once!

Every word, every jot and tittle found in Scripture has been put there to teach us some great truth. Ready to reveal life's purpose
and always calling us to be holy, more godly, and more like that of our greatest example ~ the Lord Jesus Christ.

Learning to read, write and memorize scriptures takes time, patience, practice and proper instruction. You will find that Plant the Word's
creative format allows parents and teachers to teach all three essentials at once. In fact, each biblical topic will offer scripture text that can be used as a multi-learning lesson for teaching children ages 6 to 8 years old.

Items You'll Want Handy ~

  • Large print KJV or NKJV Bible for reference and activities.
  • Plant the Word Scripture Wordsheets
  • Plant the Word Scripture Cards
  • Highligter Markers: Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange and Pink.

Begin each character lesson with a reading from God's Word... which we label as the seed ~

Select a topic from our list of Topical Bible Verses and from your child's Bible find and read the verse aloud.  If your child can locate
and read the Scripture then have him practice his skills. To gain a good understanding of the context of the passage read several verses before and after the primary verse.  To teach God's word effectively become familiar with the author of the book, background setting, and reason for the exhortation.
