Take Your Child through the Scriptures to Discover the Answer to the Most Important Question in Life: "What Must One Do to Be Saved?"

Within this study, students will learn about people who met Jesus. Each lesson builds upon the one before, children will learn of eight ordinary people who met the Christ, the Son of God. Some sought for the Messiah, some for miracles, and some for eternal life; but they all had one thing in common. They placed their eyes on the One who had the power and authority to meet their need.

What this Bible Curriculum Offers:

• Realization: Each Bible lesson tells the real account of someone who met Jesus, face to face. In this study, children ages 9 to 12, will examine how "meeting Jesus" changes lives.
  
  
• Self-Examination: Every lesson will challenge children to consider his or her own relationship with Jesus. Students will get to know Jesus through the people He ministered to.
  
  
• Making Wise Unto Salvation: There is so much wisdom to be found while studying the Scriptures. In this Bible study, students will learn the wisdom Jesus taught to each person regarding the kingdom of God.

What's Inside the Student Workbook?

• "Who Am I" Lesson Intros: Bible lesson introductions are used within this Bible curriculum to grab the attention of each student. Located in the Teacher's Guide, are suggestions as how to best use these activities within your class or group meeting.
  
  
• Scripture Search Activities: Because reading the Bible generates knowledge, Scripture Searches are vital for becoming grounded in the Word of God. There are many opportunies given within this Bible curriculum for children to draw knowledge from the Scriptures, by simply locating and copying verses in a Fill-in-the-Blank method.
  
  
• New King James Bible Reading Scripts: If you want accurate Bible accounts in story format for children ages 9 to 12, reading scripts are ideal to use. Each Bible reading script is a word-for-word rendering of the New King James Bible account. They were incorporated into this Bible curriculum for a few reasons: Children who are young readers or remedial readers find Bible reading scripts enjoyable because small parts can be assigned to them. Reading scripts can help these little ones to participate with others within the class comfortably and at their own reading level. Children learn from re-enactments and role playing. Reading Scirpture in a script form gives children the chance to make history come alive. Add a costume or two and you'll have no problem keeping the attention of your class from beginning to end!
  
  
• Discussion Questions: Children enjoy discussing what they've learned. After each Bible reading script comes thought provoking discussion questions to follow-up with. (Note: the teacher's guide offers sample answers to each question within the student workbook.)
  
  
• Memorization Recall Exercises: Every lesson has a list of Bible memory verses. Yes, you read right... several. Children ages 9-12 will find that memorization is best retained when the technique of recall is used. Making Wise Unto Salvation, contains the instructions and workbook aids to help children memorize Scripture, so they may keep the Word of God within their heart.
