Christian Biography Teaching Series – Richard Wurmbrand
The story of Richard Wurmbrand is an amazing account of a family that would suffer unbelievably for their faith in Jesus Christ. Living in communist Romania in the 1940’s the Wurmbrand family had to worship in secret while at the same time remaining as a voice for Christ to those who did not know the gospel.
Richard and his family would have to endure separation from each other, prison, persecution, interrogation, starvation, and sickness. But their overwhelming faith in God and unshakeable faith Jesus shines through in this touching real life account of true warriors of the faith.
Your children will be inspired as they witness Richard’s son stand for what he knows to be the truth in spite of what might befall him, and you will have an opportunity to speak with your children about the ever changing conditions of Christian tolerance around the world and how they are to stand even in the shadow of death.
